Small bands like Cerebral Ballzy? Not so much. This is not the best solution but it's what we can do right now.ĮDIT: This ideology doesn't apply in absolutely every situation and with every band.

The music is for the people, it doesn't matter how they hear it, just as long as they do. You see, piracy is inescapable, we're all guilty of it but it's a good vehicle for exposure.

You have to look at it this way if OP becomes a huge fan of the band via piracy, so be it, but in-turn OP could potentially catch the band play live next time they're coming though his town and/or buy some merch, introduce his friends to the band, etc, which affects bands in a more significant/positive way. There could be many factors at play that are not allowing OP to drop some sweet stacks for a couple of records, and that's cool. HOWEVER, let's not shame OP for trying to listen to the greatest band of all time.

Yo, piracy is not cool and directly affects those we care about, The Strokes.
